There are scheduled flights on both Air Canada and Hawk Air from Vancouver to Terrace. Car rentals are available at the airport. Call your travel agent. From Ketchikan, scheduled flights on Mondays and Thursdays, contact Taquan Air 907-335-8800.

From southern British Columbia, travel the Yellowhead highway, #16 west from Prince George. At Kitwanga Junction turn right onto the Stewart/Cassiar Highway #37. For those travelling on BC Ferries or the Alaska Marine Highway, from Prince Rupert, travel east on Highway 16 to the Cassiar Highway #37 and turn left. Travelling north 210 km on Highway 37 to Meziadin Junction, turn left onto Highway 37A. The final 65 km to Stewart/Hyder is the most spectacular scenery in the northwest. From Yukon and Alaska, travel south along Highway 37 from Watson Lake, continuing on Highway 37A from Meziadin Junction.
